What this page is

TidyChat engages the third-party service providers ("sub-processors") listed below to process personal data on behalf of our customers, as described in our Data Processing Agreement. We keep this list current and will give notice of changes as required by the DPA.

Current sub-processors

Sub-processor Purpose Processing region
OpenAI AI model inference for the assistant bot United States
Stripe Subscription billing and payment processing United States / EU
Sentry Application error monitoring European Union
PostHog Product analytics (EU Cloud) European Union
[PLACEHOLDER: hosting provider] Application and database hosting [PLACEHOLDER: region]
[PLACEHOLDER: email provider] Transactional email delivery [PLACEHOLDER: region]

Not a sub-processor

WhatsApp / Meta act as the transmission platform the end user chooses to message over; they are not a sub-processor engaged by us to process customer data on our behalf. Our WhatsApp gateway software runs on our own infrastructure and is not a third-party processor.

AI processing note

OpenAI processes message content solely to generate assistant responses. Per the OpenAI API data-usage policy, data submitted through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models. [VERIFY against the current OpenAI API terms before publishing — this claim must be true, not aspirational.]
